Brandma’s House continued its 101 Workshop Series with Content Checkpoint, a working session created and facilitated by Phyllis “Brandma” Williams-Strawder. Presented through the League City Regional Chamber of Commerce’s In the Know Series, the workshop used R.E.A.L. Content™ to help business owners assess their messaging, strengthen consistency, and create content that connected across platforms without becoming chaotic or performative.
LEAGUE CITY, Texas - Brandma’s House continued its 101 Workshop Series with Content Checkpoint, an interactive workshop designed to help business owners examine the story their content was telling with or without their permission.
Created and facilitated by Founder-First Brand Strategist Phyllis “Brandma” Williams-Strawder, the workshop moved participants beyond posting frequency and platform performance. They examined whether their content consistently reflected the brand, connected with the intended audience, and supported the way the business wanted to be known.
Checking the Content Behind the Activity
Content Checkpoint used Content R.E.A.L.™ as the methodology inside the session. Participants examined whether their content was:
Relatable: communicating like a recognizable human rather than performing for a platform
Engaging: creating connection instead of collecting passive attention
Aligned: supporting the brand’s identity, behavior, and business direction
Leveraged: working across platforms, formats, and available visibility opportunities
The workshop asked business owners to distinguish between content that was strategically curated and content that had become reactive, inconsistent, or chaotic.
Participants also considered how their messaging could be carried through the visibility tools already available through their Chamber membership, including digital publications, e-blasts, member promotions, collaborations, and events.
Continuing the 101 Progression
Content Checkpoint was the second workshop in the fourth-quarter 101 Series, Auditing Brand, Content, and Marketing for Maximum Impact.
The series began with Brand Behavior Audit on October 1, 2025, which introduced Brand D.R.I.P.™ as the method for examining brand perception and positioning.
Content Checkpoint shifted the focus from how the brand was perceived to how its identity was being communicated. The series concluded with Marketing Map Review on December 3, 2025, examining whether the business’s marketing activity was producing traction or merely generating noise.
Together, the three workshops established a connected progression: audit the brand, examine the content carrying it, and evaluate the marketing path moving it into the market.
